This movie tries to replicate the magic of the Prince Harry and Meghan Markle romance. An over feisty African American Chef and a vaguely European prince with an Australian accent bond over a banquet. The lead actor Travis Burns has the wrong look and demeanour for a prince. He is more suited to the bad guy in a Lifetime thriller. Also a prince with an Aussie accent is hard to digest. An Aussie prince is a contradiction in terms. It's a moderately tedious journey to see how they overcome their obstacles but things just resolved without much reason.

Meghan & Harry - not quite
Believable for the last 30 mins at least
Ok, this little struggling restaurant with three employees is going to cater a $1k per plate banquet? And as soon as she finally agrees (she has to be convinced, ok right...?) they skip off to drink cocoa in a nearby small town in the name of searching for the perfect menu? And they clearly have a spark, but who exactly is doing the work with only a week until the banquet? At the 1:30 min mark... the prince's disapproving parents arrive with an aristocratic (suitable) potential princess and they make it clear that the girl from Brooklyn just won't do for their son. It all works out of course, but I found it hard to look past the obvious imbalance in social status and the biracial element, which is not an issue for me, but IRL would clearly complicate matters. Also, even Christmas somehow took a backseat itself, until the final scenes. Just not hitting the mark with this one.
Throw the whole movie in the dumpster
Not only is the acting terrible but this whole debacle of a movie needs to be pulled from viewing. It makes NO sense. She has a failing business so when a customer shows up she's nasty to him. He offers a life changing opportunity and she's horrid. I don't understand what the writers were going for but whatever it was didn't work. Somehow they managed to make the struggling small business owner a spoiled entitled brat with a serious attitude problem. The production value was horrible! Just throw the whole movie in the trash.
